| Details: Manufacturing/Product Engineer – Southern Minnesota Doherty Career Solutions has partnered up with a Southern Minnesota contract manufacturer within the defense industry in search of a Manufacturing/Product Engineer. Responsibilities: Creates and modifies work instructions and bills of material from customer drawings and specifications for both proposals and customer orders. Designs parts and assemblies from customer drawings, specifications, and concepts. Designs production tools such as work holding fixtures and molds. Insures conformance with all design and manufacturing requirements via written and verbal instructions. Leads design reviews. Performs engineering contract review. Answers technical questions and solves problems for customers and internal personnel. Performs special projects such as capital justifications or research projects as assigned. Checks engineering drawings produced by others. Maintains confidentiality of Company information. Understands and maintains Safety and Housekeeping Standards including using all appropriate safety equipment. Understands and maintains all regulations and Nortech Systems, Inc.
